Green Pledges – December 2016

• I will try to take public transport more often
• I will switch off electrical items when they are not in use
• I will try to keep up to date with the latest environmental thinking
• I will join an environmental organisation, such as a pressure group
• I will make sure dripping taps are mended quickly
• I will endeavour to buy locally-sourced food
• I will make an effort to buy and eat organic food
• I will set a good example for those around me – especially young people
• I will pick up litter if it is safe to do so – even other people's
• I will make sure I reduce food waste
• I will cut down my consumption of animal products
• I will try to make sure more of the things I buy are 'Fair Trade'
• I will make sure I reuse, reduce and recycle (even) more than I do now
• I will change to an energy supplier that supplies 100% renewable electricity
